Main pub is in the middle of the village, near the shops. About a mile from the ground

Never seen so many police patrolling a single road. Could do with some of them around Rushden catching real criminals. Must be short in the xmas do coffers.

Also heard a train carrying some of the Long Buckby players has been delayed due to someone jumping in front of it.

Easy 5-1 victory in the end as LB tired in the second. Home side started well though and looked hard to believe that they hadn't won a game yet. Left winger was causing some real problems and their goal came from him cross. Great goal for Gearings first which was better by Dolmans cracking side foot volley from the edge of the 18 yard box, after a long ball to find him. Certainly the best of his three for the club. Looking in doubt that we might not get the full 90 as one of the floodlights never came on and the ref decided to stop the game for around 10 minutes early in the second. Another three points with a few goals and a few results also going our way

I went to Desborough today and the 3-0 win was the least they deserved. I can't believe Huntingdon have such a good record they were awful. Desborough hit the post with a completely open goal in front of them and wasted a couple of other good opportunities, whereas Huntingdon never really threatened. The Huntingdon keeper was in fine form as expected  and made a complete hash of a backpass to present Desborough with their 3rd.
