Alfie Taylor
Re: Alfie Taylor
A shame that, although I guess with the money being splashed on salaries there he was always going to find it difficult to hold down a regular place, competing against guys who have played at a higher level. Hope he finds somewhere that suits him soon. If what he says about being informed by text message is true, then that's sad to see.

Or just a disgruntled ex player. Hmmmm
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

Re: Alfie Taylor
I note the Poppies' manager uses Poppynet, and has explained the situation with Alfie thus:
"Alfie text during the day Tuesday saying can he have a discussion on his future. I said let's do it after Tuesday nights game face to face.
"Alfie left before we could talk to him
"Scott called him Thursday asking for a call back and he never replied, so rather than him come training Scott text him beforehand.
"Not sure what else could of happened if I'm honest"

No reason at all, except just to recognise that there tends to be two sides to these kind of stories, and indeed one of the KTFC management has responded with his version of events. Either way it happened, sad to see
