Re: New signings
Charlie is not from Langford, but played against them for us last Tuesday as a trialist, the is a Charlie Butt listed in the Reserve team squad for Kings Lynne so it may be him ;)gibston wrote:Scott Joesph returns, Charlie butt signs from Langford, right back/midfield
Re: New signings
That's correct - the story is now updated with more details. He was in the same Posh academy side as Ben Seymour-Shove - http://www.theposhpics.com/the-peterbor ... 76923.htmlBrownie wrote:Charlie is not from Langford, but played against them for us last Tuesday as a trialist, the is a Charlie Butt listed in the Reserve team squad for Kings Lynne so it may be him ;)gibston wrote:Scott Joesph returns, Charlie butt signs from Langford, right back/midfield
Re: New signings
I really rate scott but am a bit unsure as to us needing another striker, good luck to both lads and may and they have a long and successful stay

Re: New signings
Was a big fan of Joseph last season and would have much preferred him to stay instead of Tom during the summer, but Tom has been my biggest and best surprise so far and has done a fantastic job.
With:
Turner
Dunkley
Lorraine
Koriya
Joseph
Hard to imagine how Peaksie can keep all of these lads happy with game time. At least Koriya can play wide, but then we have the two from Gearing/ELJ/Koriya problem.
Good problems are still problems ;) - would hate to lose players from what looks to be a pretty impressive squad.

Re: New signings
I think at this level its important to have good cover, especially for goalscorers. We've seen how long an injury can keep a player out of the reckoning with Jamal, and we've also had Fazel and Russ being unavailable due to holiday / work commitments - something that could happen at any point during the season.

Re: New signings
Can't wait to see Peaksy's innovative and exciting 3-2-5 system deployed tomorrow - there's goals in that line-up ;)
Welcome to the new guys, it's a squad game and they'll all play their part, especially with the Vase kicking in soon - I think Peaksy can keep them all happy, and having strength in depth should keep the guys with the shirts on their toes eh?
