Especially by the time we start the Vase, if we don't have any postponements then we'll have played the same amount as Holbeach by the time we enter.

It's quiet for a matchday. Perhaps everyone is expecting the worst.

What are the thoughts on the team? Mine is

Finners
Merrill - Dolman - Ashton - Brown Jnr
Gearing - Harris - Confue - Fazel
Turner - Dunkley

Nothing against the lads who've missed out but with three games in eight days and a probably heavy pitch I would make a couple of changes.

I'd agree with that - as I did when you suggested that line up before the Sileby game - only for Peaksy to pick a side that scored 8.

It will be interesting to see what the crowd is for our first midweek home game - hopefully we'll be nearer 400 than 300.

That's why we are one side of the barrier and Andy is the other

I'd be very happy with that squad.

And I assume the game is going to be okay is it? Lot of rain yesterday obviously, but dry all day today should give it a bit of time to recover?

This is definitely our strongest x1 . But not one of our subs weakens the team.

I still think Brown Snr is a better bet!!!

Very true.

A bench of Bunts, Parky, Tom Lorraine, Quincey and Elliot would make the fist team for nearly all other UCL Prem teams

I think he'll stick with Elliott over Matty - other than that I think you're right - because of Desborough's aerial threat he might stick with Dolman and Parky in the middle, but I'd rather he got Sam back in and cut off the supply from that side.

My first choice team would be the same as yours Dave - but we're so lucky to have the quality on the bench to shake things up if we need to.

Just got home from work, quick scoff then over I'll be - looking forward to it, we owe them one for last years result !!

A win tonight will put us into 3rd place, as Huntingdon and PNS do not play, but they do come up against each other tomorrow!

Another interesting game tonight is Cogenhoe v Kempston
