A fantastic weekend of football next weekend at the Dog and Duck then, a chance to see us pick up 3 points on Saturday and then the opportunity to celebrate the life of a lovely lad on the Sunday - I hope Diamonds fans turn out to both in numbers.

I won't be able to make the Sunday one but if there is a bucket in the Dale Roberts bar I would happily chuck in my £2 entry money.

I see that Rob & Sarah from Hart Family Brewers have kindly donated a cask of Dale's Ale for sale on the day in Dale's Bar. What a great gesture. ;)

I'd say that Dale's Ale is the best stuff they brew. Shame it's not available to us all the time.

Dale's Ale is actually Hart's Draught House Beer. It's not particularly strong, 3.6% ABV or thereabouts, and was first brewed by Rob for the Rose & Crown in Yardley Hastings where it's always available.
I'm sure that if there is a demand for it to be stocked more regularly it could be arranged although I prefer Hart's No 1 which is a tad stronger at 4.1% ABV.
