This might seem a strange thing to say considering we've just beaten them 8-1, but I really didn't think Sileby were that bad.
I've lost count of the amount of times we've all come on here after games lamenting the fact we haven't taken our chances. It's been something that's plagued us since we reformed. Yesterday we created our usual volume of chances, but we took them. Theoretically we should be doing the same next week against Oadby who have a worse playing record that Sileby.
Anyway, great afternoon's entertainment. A pity more weren't there to see it.

I thought they were awful, shocking at the back and thought the full backs were worse than my Grandparents. The goals from Lorraine and Dolman were pure class and we should have scored double figures. We got 3 points and that is what we wanted. I think we will stuff Oadby, apparently they are struggling to field 11 players who know each other. It could be 6 - 0 at least, and I put the nil, hoping we manage to keep a clean sheet.BartonRaz wrote:This might seem a strange thing to say considering we've just beaten them 8-1, but I really didn't think Sileby were that bad.

Yeah, they've had a horrendous start to life in the UCL Prem, so I'm fully expecting us to make amends for that hammering at their place!FOOTYMAN wrote:I thought they were awful, shocking at the back and thought the full backs were worse than my Grandparents.
