Re: Joe Henderson
I think it's worth remembering that, at this level, people have lives outside football and changes of jobs or personal circumstances can dictate the involvement one can give.
To be involved you have to be prepared to commit to two evenings and most of Saturday as a minimum.

Re: Joe Henderson
This is the answer that has diverted all blame off the board and club imo. I fully understand that board members have other jobs, as do nearly every other fan of the club. But it's the simple answers or brief explanations as to player whereabouts we, or I am after. So sian decided to move on, how comes we only found out last night? Have a missed what's happened to deaks? I take it the board members know...SouthRushdenJFC wrote:I think it's worth remembering that, at this level, people have lives outside football and changes of jobs or personal circumstances can dictate the involvement one can give.

Re: Joe Henderson
Maybe they don't - the manager deals with the team and the board members are not directly responsible for the players so may not know all the details of certain players movements.corby diamond wrote:I take it the board members know...
It concerns me that you have used the word "blame". Do we really need to have a blame culture?
I think your question is perfectly valid, however, and personally I had not heard that Sean has decided to move on, so I would be interested to know the answer as well.
Constructive idea to solve your problem - I know Rudolph is going to hate it as I'm being too positive for him again. Write an email to the club/a board member:
Hi There, I was just wondering if you could tell me what has happened to Sean McBride and Alex Deakin? Neither of these players seem to be around anymore and I haven't seen a news story on the website saying that they've left.
I bet that will get you the information that you want.
Criticising hard working people publicly probably won't.

Re: Joe Henderson
Maybe the word blame might have been the wrong term, dodging the bullet maybe, diverting the conversation? It all means the same...I could do what you say Andykirkup but would just get the answer they've moved on. I am well aware how hard people behind the scenes work, I just thought that conversations on players leaving the club would be as important as if a player arrived

I suggest enclosing a cheque if you want an answer, as this seems to get a response from certain quarters. Yes I do have first hand experience btw.
Me negative??? Surely misunderstood is a better word.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.

I think you've misunderstood the point. I believe SRJFC was referring the commitment of the player in question, Sean McBride, not the board!corby diamond wrote:This is the answer that has diverted all blame off the board and club imo. Not the first time eh  in which I apologise, it's just a shame the squad is getting slightly thin, and that's two players in the last week who we could of done with in the next few weeksTrek wrote:I think you've misunderstood the point. I was indeed Trek. I think it's important that we understand that sometimes players may not wish to have their reasons for football taking a back seat plastered all over the internet and we should respect that.Trek wrote:I think you've misunderstood the point. Re: Joe Henderson
Not too sure how ambitious Joe is as he has signed for his home club Woodford United!!! Hardly a step forward! Probably just biding his time there until another opportunity opens?
