F**k that!Trek wrote:Funny enough I understand they might be struggling financially. Eddie Anderson, that guy who does the Fan Owned Club Blog, intimated as much when the draw was made hoping we would get through our two matches to play Hendon. He even suggested that we might agree to share the prize money irrespective of who might win the match!
Is it not possible for all you alcoholics ;) to find other pubs near the ground, rather than give them any money?
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

There's a pub, The Horseshoe, two minutes walk away.

Have you confirmed that Hendon actually receive any of the bar or food revenue as part of their ground share agreement with Harrow Borough?
If not, a boycott won't effect them much.

I've just received this message from a Harrow Borough Supporter:-AndyKirkup wrote:Have you confirmed that Hendon actually receive any of the bar or food revenue as part of their ground share agreement with Harrow Borough?

'Just for the record, Hendon Do Not receive any of the Bar takings or Refreshment bar income, so those with a grudge against Hendon can eat & drink with out giving them a penny.'

According to out twitter said Chairman has changed his mind and Adam and Doug will be broadcasting.
Unless we get stuck in traffic.
Warning Mat.H, we are unlikely to get there much before 2.45

Starting by 3.00pm may be a problem, but we will be with you very shortly after that. Adam is taking training of Little Diamonds in the morning so will be pushed for time to get there prior to 3pm
I am the only one that is going to be at the ground by 3.0pm and I have never set up the equipment before.
Adam has given me a long list of instructions, 35 steps to take ...Dummies guide to operating Radio Diamonds. As long as the computer does not mess me about I should be ok.
Thanks to everyone for your support. Last night we were told the decision was final but I suspect our Chairman used his diplomatic skills to get the decision reversed and all credit to Hendon Chairman for being good enough to listen to our argument.r .

Only just looked & seen all this, I'll eat & drink anywhere but as a protest against another non league .... Chairman I'll spend the minimum into their coffers, if they are in trouble hard f in luck. Even a threat to ban radio is small minded crap. Avoid raffle tickets & programmes. Looking forward to the Hendon chairman related songs, though some words may need to be mimed or omitted for fear of eviction from the ground. Nose & face spring to mind, he wanted to avoid missing out on £100 as a group we can now ensure that's 10 fold and he has a big pile of left over programmes on his desk come 5 pm tomorrow.
