Fundraising idea (Stamps)
BUMP
Please remember to bring those Stamps down to the ground, with Christmas only 3 weeks away this is usually the best time of year for stamps.
thanks

There is some money to be made by collecting Postage Stamps, so I have agreed with Stagman to have a collection box in the Club Shop (hopefully in time for Saturdays game). If you have any used stamps, please bring them down to the D&D on match days and put them in the box. They can be used, franked or not, present day, old or foreign, the more the better. If you do have some to give, please leave at least 10mm of paper around each stamp.
Thanks in advance
Steve

Re: Fundraising idea
Nice one - great idea.
These "small" initiatives really can make a big difference if loads of people back them. Just look how much money The Stagmans have raised from rag collections!

Please remember those Stamps folks. This is my first home match since the box went into the Club Shop so I'll take any with me after the game. I also have some paperbacks that can be sold if there's room.

Re: Fundraising idea (Stamps)
I have just received payment for our first batch of Stamps which you kindly donated during the second half of last season. Albeit only £36, it is cash for a load of Stamps that would have probably ended up in the bin. So please continue to leave them in the box in the Club shop, if you have a load of Stamps and can't get to the D&D, I'll pick them up within a reasonable distance of Irthlingborough or MK. Remember, they can be new, old, un/used, British, Foreign, franked or not. As an aside, the stamps are used to fundraise for an Animal/Bird sanctuary, so it's a win/win situation,
thanks

£36 is still £36, for nothing , and we would n`t have it if this initiative did n`t exist
I`ll be bringing a bagful to the first home game. Good to know it`s also for a good cause.
