Can't find the words to describe how I'm feeling right now, how proud I am to be wearing my shirt, swinging my scarf, singing the names of the players!!

Didn't think Spencer were anything special to be honest, not sure how teams struggled there. Well done to Spencer staff for going the extra mile.

Don't think I can fault anyone today, everyone worked well and done what was required for an easy win. Many thanks to every single player who has made this season a success, thanks to starms, peaksy and biff for an excellent season, but the biggest thank you from me goes to Ralph. You have given the fans back everything that was lost. All the players and staff, well done on taking the fans so well at the end. Interviews were hilarious, even if starms couldn't be heard  hope you don't cut any of the footage cameraman (bozzer??) Thanks Ralph for saying a few words at the end to us.

All in all a great day in the history of afc rushden and diamonds. So proud of you all, thanks guys!!!!!!

Well that was awesome, worth coming back from uni specially for. Have waited so to finally celebrate a Diamonds' promotion like that. Game wasn't as bad as I feared (had feared Spencer would score and it would have been tense), couple of slightly nervy parts in the first half but once Hopey headed in I don't think it was ever in any doubt and Gearing finished it off with a beautiful hit from outside the area. Was brilliant to be part of the great celebrations at the end, never experienced that before (only started supporting rdfc in late 2003), certainly won't forget that in a hurry, crazy :D

Not sure what the attendance was, perhaps not as many as I had hoped, I would have guessed maybe 750, but still great support as ever. All in all a superb day and season and very grateful to all that have worked to get us here today, I dreamed of this day a year ago before the start of the senior team but of course I can't honestly say I expected it cause I didn't, and I didn't expect this after the Oadby game either, amazing to be in this position right now at the end of our first season :D :D

August can't come quick enough, more travelling in the Premier with quite a few teams past Peterborough, but still, always nice to visit new places, Butthole Lane here we come!

Great day, great result, never looked in doubt when Hopey scored..

Was expecting a much closer game to be honest, but Spencer never really threatened us.

There were so many times I had written us off on this forum including quite recently. I think I'd given up after both defeats and the draw against Oadby. A few of us said we'd realistically need to win every single game after the Oadby defeat, and to go unbeaten and very nearly achieve that feat is extraordinary.

My thanks to the players who have been superb and Starms for identifying weaknesses and addressing them at the right times. A proper manager.

I've only missed two games all season and been to every away game, and I have to say it's been years since i've had this much fun watching football.

Can't wait for next season now. Roll on the Northwich game on July 13th!
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

OS says it was 812. I did hope we'd get 1000, but 812 is still the 3rd highest attendance we've played in front of all season and by far the highest away crowd away from R&H and the D&D, would have been 1000+ at home no doubt, but its still a very very good turnout.
