In a nutshell, Dave. I thought the 'singers' were great and created a fantastic atmosphere and really got behind our lads today. Roll on Tuesday for more of the same. ;)SouthRushdenJFC wrote:There was no need for the nine to belt the ball as hard or in the direction that he did. You clearly havn't read the post right so let me explain...first of all i didnt say 3 months, i said a matter of months, so fakenham, bpw and now today is 3 times in my mind. Second of all at no point did i say which part of the fanbase it was at bpw, i just said some little boy, and lastly calling me jock simply because i live in corby and have absolutely no relation to anything scottish is simply below the belt, jesus christ perhaps there should only be an attendance of 20 every week because the people who can only sing out swallowing and choking, while throwing objects are the only people who show real support :?TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:corby diamond wrote:TTT, you are missing the point completely, lets take the singers out of the equation here, the fact is that once again for the 3rd time in a matter of months some little boys have decided to throw their rattles out. You can sing about what you want, from jager bombs, to spitting and gargling whatever you were going on about in that small group, but the bottom line is im sure the ralph has got better things to do with his time than to try to sort out something which quite rightly infuriates 3/4's of the fan base... Im a young supporter myself but would much rather spend my time watching the game and praising it than having it tarnished...TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:I disagree footy man. Everyone is so nicely nicely that it detracts from what what we all want to achieve.
Take away the singer, you take away the singers .
Why our fans can't get together and say "he spat us" "he whacked the ball into a young lads face"
f*** it, well moan at the singers anyway.
Carry on, we'll carry on singing for our team until we get banned, and beyond.
And that'll be a long time before any of you lot will even start to get behind your team.
I think you're missing the point Jock lad. What do you mean third time in three months? Last week, wasn't the young lads, nor singers so tar who you like.
We'll carry on supporting our team

I will reiterate again Corby diamond, please do not blame the singers for this incident! Could we have this threat locked if people continue to point fingers at this group of passionate and loyal fans! It's starting to feel like a witch hunt from certain points of view

In my posts on this subject i have only said once that todays incident has come from that direction, but at no point did i mention it to be one of the vocal ones...there clearly is a difference. If you have seen any other of my posts that i have stated it to be one of the vocals then please quote me.rushdenshireelite wrote:I will reiterate again Corby diamond, please do not blame the singers for this incident! At the end of the day we all support the same club so lets keep it that way, whether you have been an ardent since 92, or have just been on the block the past year that shouldnt make a difference. I have been a fan since 2002, which makes no difference at all but will not be slated for what town i live in!!!

I think this might be getting blown out of all proportion? ;) I saw a Bourne fan put on Twitter earlier that 'one idiot ruined a great day' - massively OTT.
Probably shouldn't say this but I can't really blame our fans for reacting the way they have both last Saturday and today, regardless of who it was. Spitting is disgusting and insulting, whilst deliberately belting the ball at a crowd unnecessarily from point blank range was dangerous if nothing else.
Great singing today as always. We're one of the only teams around that have singers that sing for 90 minutes solid, as I've said before we're lucky to have them.
