Just heard on the radio that K*ttering will NOT be allowed to be in the play-offs, even if they get it... but their space will go to the team who finish 6th?.. and apparently to the radio "This is CONFIRMED".

Must be Mansfield IMO.
IF we get to the play-offs i'd want us to avoid Oxford/Stevenage, Luton and AFC Dons.
Would take York or Mansfield though....

Sorry but just because a radio journalist says so does not mean its official.

The way this League is run and the way rules are set in stone one second and ignored the next i would not take the word of a radio journalist pickig up gossip and turning it into dodgy facts.

The Official deadline was the 1st March but we know how the Conference board does not like making a decision and with Kettrin actually having talks this month with their Landlord over the lease the rumours i have heard is that the deadline has been moved to the 31st March.

So until a official statement is made on the matter i would not right off Kettrin just yet.

That's the way it should be and something that I was a suggesting a week or two back. OK, so the second placed team doesn't get the revenue from a two-legged semi-final playoff but they will have longer to prepare and be fresh from not having to play two matches. It will, however, mean that it will be more difficult for the other two teams to get promoted which may include us.

A team finishing in 6th place does not deserve to be in the play offs IMHO.

In all the divisions of the football league 6th place is good enough to get in the playoffs though. ;)

It looks like second place is probably going to either Stevenage or Oxford and with them so far ahead, whoever doesn't win the league out of them deserves a playoff final place IMO.
