Desperate measures.....
Re: Desperate measures.....
From twitter, the players they've signed are Ash Talbot,Harry Beckley,Kam Glen,Mark Pryor,Solomon Akinshade,Thiara Harpal,Tim Sing Gill,Tory Johnston,Aiden Da Rosa,Anish Kkinda. Some weird names there and searched a few and unsurprisingly didn't find a lot, anyone hear of any of them, I know Mark Pryor played for them before but other than that not heard of any of them.

Harry Beckley has played for K*ttering before, Anish Khinda played for you, tbh I've never heard of the rest, I thought someone was playing scrabble  Oh yes Pat Noubissie has re-signed.Olly wrote:From twitter, the players they've signed are Ash Talbot,Harry Beckley,Kam Glen,Mark Pryor,Solomon Akinshade,Thiara Harpal,Tim Sing Gill,Tory Johnston,Aiden Da Rosa,Anish Kkinda. Not even Troy Johnston who we signed in July, but released by Starms as surplus to requirements?Olly wrote:......but other than that not heard of any of them.

If I'm honest I don't remember that, was a bit distracted by the olympics at that time tbh :oops:Trek wrote:Not even Troy Johnston who we signed in July, but released by Starms as surplus to requirements?Olly wrote:......but other than that not heard of any of them.

I know Ash Talbot, he is a goalie who played for the Poppies under 21 side last year, comes from Stanwick, big strapping lad
Re: Desperate measures.....
Harry beckley trialled for us last season and looked very decent, Troy played for us at wootton and Anish trialled for us at Lutterworth

Re: Desperate measures.....
Obviously I've never seen the lease, but I imagine all it says it that the Ploppies must pay KC x pounds per week/month/year and in return are permitted to play matches at Nene Park. I don't imagine for one minute that KC gives a flying f**K where the Plopps play as long as he's getting his money!Duke of Wimbourne wrote:Will this break the lease agreement with KC? :?

I'm the same as KC, I don't give a flying f**k where they play either
. If they are paying rent on NP and paying to play at Steel Park as well the sums just won't add up - but then I suppose the CVA money can pay for Steel Park can't it, because no-one seems to care that the poor sods owed money aren't getting it !! Morally wrong and morally corrupt - a shameful scenario !!

Oh yes, vaguely remember him now! So 2 of their players weren't even good enough for a division 3 levels below theirsbozzer wrote:Harry beckley trialled for us last season and looked very decent, Troy played for us at wootton and Anish trialled for us at Lutterworth

Sums the entire situation up.Morally wrong and morally corrupt - a shameful scenario !!
I can't believe the Southern League are allowing the Poppies to play at Steel Park because they haven't paid any bills at Nene Park.
