Meh, it might have worked out perfectly for him. He goes straight into the No.1 spot of a team top of the BSN. In 7 months he could be back in the Conference having been an integral part of a title-winning team, which would make bigger clubs sit up and take notice of him.

Turley left because he does not train anymore and Skippy wanted a 'keeper that would train. Apparently :?Three of Diamonds wrote:Turley had a bust up and left apparentlySara Pascoe wrote:Laurie Walker's signed for Brackley. From rags to riches, he must be extremely happy.

lauries a quality keeper.....he was just in a poor side with no defence,,,,,the scores last year would have been so much worse ;) ;) he did make a few blunders but these were always outwayed by the consistant decent performances,,,i for one wish him all the best
  turley is an arse ,i remember a pre season friendly at brackley, when someone took the p out of him and he had a ding dong with them behind his goal(im not sure ,but he may have been led away by a steward  )

See plops had a friendly against rothwell tonight and lost 3-0, they were awful by the sound of it... God only knows what's going to happen if they don't play Saturday.

Seems that if you had a pair of boots you got a game.....Fans that were there only recognised two of the team ! :roll:corby diamond wrote:See plops had a friendly against rothwell tonight and lost 3-0, they were awful by the sound of it... Luckily for them they haven't got a game this Saturday, no home game til St Neots on the 27th. And I find it quite funny how they played a team in our league and one we beat comfortably, can we say we're officially better than them nowcorby diamond wrote:See plops had a friendly against rothwell tonight and lost 3-0, they were awful by the sound of it... Perhaps a sign of things to come for them, that's if they can be bothered to support kfc next season that is, who I see couldn't quite make 100 again tonight.

Also arranaged at the same time as the St Neots game at NP, is the memorial game for Dylan Cecil, now held at Kennedy's in Finedon at 3.00pm. So I would doubt very few will go to NP....Olly wrote:Luckily for them they haven't got a game this Saturday, no home game til St Neots on the 27th.
