Wouldn't it have been better to not react - then he'd have been made to look an even bigger twat?
There was hardly a reaction, a few shouts a moans and a lucozade bottle, some people dont half go over the top!

Our fans should be applauding for not reacting. If an away supporter runs 25 yards from where he was standing just to goad other opposing supporters he deserves all he gets. If he tried that stunt again, he would've been in for a shock!

If you are concerned with behaviour on and off the pitch, I'm sure I can find you a spot on the Stewarding team, wha are not trained and do it out of love for the club................you want to make a difference or are not happy with the way things are run, then Volunteer 8-)

back to the game..

I thought Wiz had his best game for the club today, look fresh and sharp.
I'd like to see morgan given more of a chance.
Pete blows hot and cold, I think of his day he good be a match winner, is he right footed?

Agreed there Jaff, thought Wisniewski was great and had benefitted from the enforced lay-off.

One minute Pete will do something good, and the next he'll be lashing a cross into Little Irchester. There's a good player in there for sure - he was great against St Neots in pre-season - but he needs to find a bit of consistency. I guess that's why he's at this level though.

I think Dev's confidence looked shot today. There was one tell-tale sign in the first half when he went clear through with no-one near him, before he stalled obviously looking for the pass because he didn't fancy himself for pace, he was then outmuscled and the attack broke down. He's very good at holding up the ball and proved that at Harrowby inparticular but he's not doing enough to get himself a goal.

I'd like to see Dev and Morgan up front on Tuesday.

I attended my first game today and had mixed feelings to be honest...Its such a shame but i just cant put my finger on what was wrong...

The fakenham fan was clearly out to bait the fans on the pdb, and i saw everything from what was up his shirt to is backside in which he decided to pull out. And i disagree in what was thrown at him, clearly thrown by a boy no older than about 15. Its things like this thats going to get the club into trouble.

Bit of a poor song for jack, someone explain why rabsi?? whos probably a fan is mentioned in the chant, one of the lads at the back hit the nail on the head when he said "why is people singing about rabsi when they dont know him?? New song soon please

The lads played well, alfie was great, quincy scared me a bit at times...He will come a cropper one day.

And many thanks to Haydn for a great belly buster...top quality... :D

i saw pete in pre season training and i have to say he was awsome in some of the knock-about games,he was banging goals in from 25 yards and looked really sharp,a real shame he got injured,im sure hell be back on form. i really like the look of jack (wizz).......but my unsung hero has to go to shany(sean mcbride) dosent look like a typical footballer, allways busy, never gives up,in your face.....kinda reminds me of an angry wasp

Can i just say a few words, and I hope that no one takes this personally, because it isn't meant to be.

What has been achieved over the last 14 months is nothing short of incredible.
The fantastic volunteers have sweated blood to get this club up and running, and to now have a senior club, playing is a dream come true for me, especially after all the crap, we as FANS have had to put up with from people, that frankly should not be allowed near any football club.

Now, AFCR&D is a new concept as a football club, and at times, I don't know if our fans really understand that.

WE ARE NOT RDFC, WE ARE AFC R&D, things will be different, things will not sit well, if you expect to see Conference Premier Football, we are were we are, and we are trying to make the best of it.

I can except criticism IF, there is a counter arguement, if some one wants to moan for the sake of it, then PLEASE do it elsewhere, but if you have a constructive opinion, then for the future of this club, come forward, you are not just fans of AFCR&D, you are AFCR&D, you are it's shareholders, you are AFCR&D, every time you criticise your club, you are criticising YOURSELVES, remember that.If you want changes then you have the power to make them

Every time you step foot into an away ground, you represent yourself and AFCR&D, every time you turn up at the D&D, you represent AFCR&D...................You are AFCR&D..................think before you start to bleat.

As I have said, don't take it personally, but if you do and don't like it, then Vote me off the board............we do it for the love of this club, not to have the **** ripped out of us

*these are my own thoughts and nothing to do with any other member of the board 8-) 8-)

i agree Dunk i thought Mcbride carried on from hi second half performance at Olney. Chris Hope was immense he won everything in the air (apart from their goal, but can't remember who was marking their chap).thought we missed Elliot a bit, but great to see him there on the bench supporting the team.
Apart from the first 25 mins of the second half we bossed the game, should have scored 7 or 8 with the chances we created, someone said to me me we need to worry when we aren't creating them.

Alfie just scores all the time, thought Jake and Ben did well when they came on.

After the match Starms said every player on the bench will start on tuesday.

Not bad at all for a team put together in July!

I agree about Quincy, I'm just waiting for a mishap. Hopefully when it comes it will be when we're 4-0 up. I always find myself muttering "...fuuuuuck" under my breath when he tries to hold onto the ball for longer than is necessary. It's quite scary.

I think all the opposition teams should now give us a goal head-start and credit it to Taylor, because it's going to happen anyway so get it out of the way before the game starts. :D
