Oh, and I forgot to say, it IS a Beautiful Day and I am Soooooooooooooooo Excited !!

Can I just say a thanks to Ralph, Jon, Chas, Dave A, Matt, John, Darren, Stacey, Bob, Mark and David C for making today possible !!

All these guys (and gal) have put in a terrific amount of work over the past 14 months to get this club to where it is today - our first Senior League game (sounds great doesn't it !!). They all deserve one hell of a round of applause this afternoon and if you see one of them, tell them what a terrific job they have done !! They have given us back our club !

I've witnessed the hours of dedication firsthand, much of what they do goes on behind the scenes, its often not glamorous and mostly not seen, and takes a hell of a lot of their time and at times is really challenging.

They do it because they love this football club and were keen to see a great injustice put right - that happens at 3pm today !!

Well done guys (and gal) you're all a credit to the name Rushden & Diamonds and I for one am so grateful for everything you have done !!

Yeah well done to those who have got us here, the feeling of having a Diamonds match to look forward to on a Saturday afternoon is great to have back, of course I enjoyed Saturday afternoons last season as always, but it just wasn't the same without a Diamonds game to watch or follow.
