Re: RDFC goals that you will always remember
We will always keep going over our favourite goals...
Lets change it around for a bit of a laugh (well not at the time anyways) and give our views on the goals you remember for all the WRONG reasons!!!
My first ever away game and first game of the 03/04 season at Luton town...Billy Turley too busy arguing with the official by the corner flag to notice the corner had already been taken and the ball ending up in the back of the net...
2010/2011 FA Cup exit at home to Yeovil...The offside goal which their forward clearly impeding joes view...I was RAGING
Oh the rollercoaster we endured

Has to be the mad minute in a top of the table clash V Cheltenham. 1 up going into injury time, going clear at the top with the title in site, gutted to conceed and equaliser, distraught to let chelteham grab a winner seconds later!

I remember that like it was yesterday, I'd just turned to Bobos and said "ah well a point isn't the end of the world" when they scored the second. I'd forgotten just what NP looked like full to capacity: http://www.cheltenhamshire.co.uk/pages/rushden.phpTheIncognitoKid wrote:Has to be the mad minute in a top of the table clash V Cheltenham. 1 up going into injury time, going clear at the top with the title in site, gutted to conceed and equaliser, distraught to let chelteham grab a winner seconds later!

How about the Stevenage away game, think it may have been NYD 08, when we were exceptional all game, Ranks scored to put us 1-0 up very late on, only for Stevenage to score twice in injury time. Such a gutting moment.
Also, Chris Dagnall effectively relegating us with a last minute goal in 06. I think I let out a scream at that moment.

That has to be the worst for me, I just stood on the DeBanke for about 10 minutes after the final whistle in silent disbelief :(Pigman wrote:I remember that like it was yesterday, I'd just turned to Bobos and said "ah well a point isn't the end of the world" when they scored the second. It was our first home game in the league and was on Friday night TV.
I think Scott's shot nearly hit the floodlights rather that find the back of the net from 2 yards out
