If tomorrows match was in Eastbourne it would be off with waterlogged pitch.
My garden is under 3 inches of water.
What is weather forecast/ current pitch condition?

I guess the covers were removed earlier in the week with no forecast of frost and to allow the groundstaff to prepare and mark the pitch. Although we've had a fair bit of rain Nene Park drains pretty well and it's a bit breezy in Northants today so that will help to dry the surface. I guess the pitch will be in better nick than against Stevenage.
