Re: Duane Darby
Great move by the club, should get a few more up in the Kimberley and hopefully sell a few more brekkies! I'd love it if he joined us on the PDB!

Agreed - well done to the club.
I'm sure Duane was more than happy to accept the offer!

Can we change the title of this thread to "The Living Legend and 2 goal Scum Hero That is DUANE DARBY"?

Nice to see my Rushden hero, its been a while! He really was in my opinion the biggest legend we have ever had! He gave more than anyone else has ever given to this club!

Re: Duane Darby
I hope something is mentioned on the tannoy or he's allowed on the pitch before the game.
Don't think he's been to Nene Park since leaving? I remember he was at Kiddy when we played them away. That was quality!

I hope he's allowed onto the pitch during the game. I think Roper and Dempster would shit themselves.DiamondsFan wrote:I hope something is mentioned on the tannoy or he's allowed on the pitch before the game.
Re: Duane Darby
Can't remember which game it was but Duane has definitely been back at least once. I recall him walking around the stands shaking hands, signing programmes etc. Then spent some time on the DB and bounced up and down when the chant went up.
Yes, by the standards of our young club very much a legend. Could have played more but OBN quite often favoured players like Partridge - OBN didn't like crowd favourites very much
