Because I'm bored this Monday morning, I've had a sneaky look over on Ploppynet. Some of those poor deluded twats are now actively advertising the fact that they have bought season tickets for next year. They might as well start a thread entitled "I'm a total Fuckwit come and help yourself to the contents of my bank account". Unbelievable, you couldn't make it up.

there's also a long debate about whether their second string team was called reserves, under 21s or under 18s, with some correspondents getting quite hot under the collar about this. You'd think they had more serious things to get agitated about!!

There is now quite a serious debate about how their current Youth programme has been chopped, and how the claims for the replacement are rather exaggerated. The total of people on there that have seen through Rolls and his plans now seems to have increased to 3, which I suppose is progress. :o :o

2 of those seem to be the people who were helping to run their youth set up this season, and they're leaving.

I see they have let in 97 goals in the BSP, I wonder if Darlo can break the ton for them at the weekend? :D

i had a heated email debate with HOY last november/december about moulton colledge and the synario(sorry spelling :D ) if the club went bust or the youth system was shut down.....what would happen to the lads ???the reply was dont worry there are numerous legue clubs willing to take us on!!!!!! now i see he has left ...............
quote------

"Unless something changes the fact is personally his son is one year through a two year course at moulton and now has no club to play for as it's now at tresham

No big deal it going to tresham but the moulton players need to find an alternative option for the remaining year if this is still the case"

george rolls(royce) has worked out that these young lads are a massive money making machine @ £40 / month,so no doubt there will be more teams next year-------quantity not quality

Why do all expect someone to have all the answers? If the fans want the club then they need to get involved.

I've been staggered this season at the general apathy shown in supporting the club. There are a core few who make the effort but the rest seem happy to sit back, complain and watch the world pass them by.

If the worst happened, as it did with R&D last year, do I believe we could mobilise and get as organised they have in such a short time? Not a chance.
It seems that there are a few Ploppies who have recognised the marvellous work that has already been achieved with AFC R&D. ;)

12 months ago on the corresponding Saturday RDFC lost 2-0 to Darlo in what turned out to be their last ever match.
Will be interesting to see if history repeats itself. It's going to be a long summer for the Ploppies with little money coming in, bills to be paid and the AGM Cup to safely negiotate.
