Clearly they've mistaken you for me. As I actually do want them dead.

Only three relegation places in the BSN, Jim so it's actually 5 points plus they have the best goal difference from the sides around them and their remaining 3 matches are all against sides below them in the table so they should be able to get a few more points.
Northamptonshire football is, however in a mess as you say, but I reckon all professional football from the Championship down is in the worst financial mess that I've witnessed in all my time following the game over the last 50 plus years. It's only TV money for the Premiership clubs keeping them in a reasonable position.

Not sure if we're looking at different tables, but the BBC Website shows a 4 point gap.

I can't believe how tight the BSN is, and how competitive it is. Corby are on 49 points and are only 4 points from safety. You know as well as I do Trek that anything from those remaining games is far from a given, given the state of their squad.

I've heard that Drury is highly likely to leave, whoever takes it on next season has a serious job on their hands. Only 5/6 of the current squad is good enough IMO and they'll be whipping boys next season unless something is done.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

This is the BSN table that I'm looking at with Hinckley on 44 points:-

However, this appears to be the correct table  :-

So if Histon win their game in hand it's even tighter.

He doesn't have a clue does he?

And what schools exactly will you be going into Mr Rolls, Kettrin ones or Rushden ones?

The community around NP does not accept your club, that has been shown by the pitiful attendances.

Going into schools will not change that.

I think that Rolls has underestimated the level of rivalry that exists between the the Kettrin district and Rushden & Irthlingborough area.
It is akin to P'boro playing in Cambridge.
Also all the Ploppies have to travel to any match or function, they may as well just move home 8-)

I see that the Ploppies have cancelled their bus to NP for their 'Soul Evening'.

Look at the readers comment to this article from the Cambridge News:-

They have cancelled the bus however since the acts are doing it for free i would think they would go ahead as they will still make money on the evening, now if it was a commercial event it would have been cancelled a week ago due lack of sales.

I see in the Poppies Trust statement about them having accepted Rolls "offer" of a 24% shareholding they refer to their club having a "fabulous 140 year history". Correct me if I'm wrong, but they have failed to win a single national league title in all their 140 years of mediocrity - something the Diamonds achieved twice in just 19 seasons.

Perhaps they think the fact that their continued stay in non-league has given them the opportunity to face several even lesser teams each season in the FA Cup, and hence ramp up their goals scored total in the qualifying rounds, is a fabulous achievement....
