Re: KEMPSTON
Yes it's going to be tight for the title:
ON's can hit 37 points if they win their final game at home to Woodford.
Woodford could also still reach 37 points but after Bugbrooke tonight they play ON's away, Kempston home and Cogenhoe at Home.
Kempston can hit 38 points if they win their remaining 3 games which are Spencer home and away plus a difficult trip to Woodford.
Cogenhoe could reach 39 points but need to beat Woodford away as well as winning their as yet unscheduled fixture at home to Spencer.
So out of 10 fixtures remaining involving the 4 teams that could potentially win the title, 6 involve them playing each other.
First up Bugbrooke-Woodford tonight....

Re: KEMPSTON
Kempstons 4-0 win at Cogenhoe looks impressive on paper. Can't beleive Cogenhoe had a full team out for that.
We did what we had to last night, beating Bugbrooke 4-0, but you're right- our run-in is not the easiest, starting with ON Chenecks on Monday night.
Cobblers released ALL of their 2nd year U18s last week!!! We managed to nab their goalkeeper.

By that did you mean 'How on Earth did a superior team like Woodford not thrash them?', then I can tell you we wuz robbed !!Duke of Wimbourne wrote: Chenecks 2-2 Woodford
What on earth has happened to ON's?
2-1 up and cruising it, then so-called premier league standard referee overules a lineman's offside flag and allows Chenecks to score an equaliser.

Not a dig at Woodford, but the way ON's started the season, I fully expected them to romp away with the title 8-)
