Re: The Referee
Email the BBC non-league show: nonleague@bbc.co.uk. I would suggest that constructive messages which are as unbiased as you can keep them are probably the best idea. If enough people email them surely they'll have to mention it - particularly since one of the panel Willy Wordsworth attended the match and doesn't, to my knowledge, support either side so could offer the neutral viewpoint.

Re: The Referee
Watching that though, the last man before the keeper for the first penalty is Jefferson Louis. Denying a goalscoring opportunity? Looks a red to me..
I want to see the clip with Tomo getting fouled by the last man again. Absolutely shite decision. You can't give a foul for a last man tackle then only give a yellow card you PRICK

Re: The Referee
On the second penalty, the problem for Jamie is that he does have his arm around the Oxford players middle just before he goes down. While I don't think it was a pen I imagine on first glance that's what sold the ref.

Re: The Referee
Who's that Constable? The annoying thing is that as the ball has been thrown into to his feet, Constable has made absolutely no attempt to control the ball, hes just purely backing in and looking for it. Although Stuart's arm is there, you see that at every level, and i even think at one point hes trying to hold Constable up to stop him from going down. Clever on Constable's part, but cheating nonetheless.. will he care? of course not. Love the way the ref runs away like a little girl. I can understand why he gave the first one (from the ref's view) although I think Dale had it pretty much under control anyway.
Same old Oxford... Always cheating.

Re: The Referee
Agree totally....they made that word for him alone !! Also, wonder what team he played for before deciding to eff up other clubs chances by his bad decisions...(and who would/could pay him "extras" for the favour)....smacks of Grobbelar !! ;) i love the facebook posts as well....shows hes not only effed us up and prob will go on to do it again.........can we refuse him as a ref in any other games we play? (prob not)

Cunstable is a twat who has a ego bigger than his ass !! thinks hes the be all and end all of any club hes played for, has never had the talent to make it out of this league and has learned over the years, if he cant get past you with talent he will smash into you making sure you fall, and does it in such a way hes not seen....(hes got that talent off to a tee actually). Funny how such a hard nut, falls down like a pussy aint it? :roll:TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:Who's that Constable? The Oxford player falling near Jamie Stuart is Matt Green - with the green boots - not Constable.TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:Who's that Constable? Re: The Referee
I think he clapped the referee (off camera).Formic wrote:Looking at the video, you can't see a lot of dissent from Jamie Stuart - yet he and Corcy were booked for dissent, as was Louis earlier.
Having seen the 2 penalty incidents again I can understand why the first one was given, although it is the sort of challenge in the area that goes unpunished several times in every game, but the second one was an absolute joke. Green just backed into Stuart and collapsed in a heap without any assistance from Jamie. It seemed to me that Mr. Creighton was just looking for an excuse to make himself popular with the large home support.
Both fans and players need to put this behind them now - it has happened and won't change- and concentrate on the matches to come.
