Need to break the bank ( ;) )to get ex-Diamond Jon Stead in from Peterborough Northern Star, he bags for fun. A couple of familiar faces like Hopey, maybe Burge if it could be possible would be great too.Mad Dog wrote:Since people are talking about players and to spark a debate, what would those who have been watching the lower levels see as a 'dream' XI for next year?

Re: Paul Hall on Twitter
I have wondered about Burge and whether he would look to sign on next year. I think he may try to at some point, but having found that Step 4 wasn't for him with Chester, would he be happy to drop lower just yet?BartonRaz wrote:Need to break the bank ( ;) )to get ex-Diamond Jon Stead in from Peterborough Northern Star, he bags for fun. Re: Paul Hall on Twitter
He's based in the Liverpool area isn't he? That may be a problem, but it's clear from some of his tweets lately that he still loves the club. He's also doing a bit of coaching at Corby and possibly still has a ladies team so it might not be in his best interests but we can all dream. ;)Mad Dog wrote: I have wondered about Burge and whether he would look to sign on next year. Someone get in touch with Paul Hall on Twitter and get him to track down Onandi.

Btw Onandi's got a son, who was apparently scoring quite a few goals in Jamaica.Someone get in touch with Paul Hall on Twitter and get him to track down Onandi.
Regarding budgeting and admissions, I've stumbled across a few interesting topics upon the Kings Lynn forums on that debate:

Re: Paul Hall on Twitter
On a 700 attendance not everyone would be playing £7, children and concessions would be considerably less, and obviously I expect that we would be VAT registered next year, which we are not currently, therefore 20% would go at a stroke.BartonRaz wrote: Think about it, if we're getting (as an example) 700 at home games, which I don't think is unreasonable, each paying £7 quid a time, again, not an unreasonable amount, then that is 5k right there.
I would be surprised if average net gate receipts for league fixtures exceeded £2500 per week so sponsorship deals would largely dictate our playing budget for next season.

Well if you want to split hairs there wouldn't be 20 people in a matchday squad. ;)

That is Damion Lowe, 16 year old son of Onandi. Can you see the resemblance in my avatar? ;)

Re: Paul Hall on Twitter
If the club needs someone to go over and scout him, I'm available, all expenses paid of course. I know don't thank me it's a tough job, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice
;)
