My point was that it was not a marketing ploy by Ladak but a condition in the agreement
Do you know if the DeBanke family were consulted DM?

So rather than being a cynical ploy from IL; it's a cynical ploy from KC built into the agreement.

The only thing that makes it slightly more acceptable is that Dale's family were consulted (that's how I read DM's post anyway).

Why not re-name the north/south stand though? It's because the terrace is more meaningful to supporters.

This was my point!

Pete De Banke was very important, I should think his family are saddened at the news

If it was Ladaks idea to rename the stand then it's a marketing ploy, pure and simple, to placate any remaining R&D fans still unsure about returning to Nene Park and persuade them that there is continuity and an R&D legacy still in place. If it was a condition of Keith Cousins to rename the stand then he is clinging to the false hope that any R&D fans might actually feel any kind of sympathy to his version of events that didn't see him killing our club.

If I was still allowed to swear on this forum now would be the moment.

WHO actually gives a f*** what its called anymore. They could call it the Ladak stadium for all I ****ing care, its of no more importance to me than what Anfield is called.
We had a team out Saturday performing their best for us yet we are (well you are) still harping on about what the NEW occupants are going to be calling a part of their building. I honestly do despair.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.
