Cuckoo FC
Re: Cuckoo FC
Would be a great chant for future games, as the bird sings...'cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo...'

Maybe by that time afcrd won't be in a different town as well?Dukes wrote:That's a long time in the nest..?
Re: Cuckoo FC
I give them one season and a change of name will appear as cash flow will demand more support from the local area and KT fans refuse to relocate.
'Rockingham Forest' is my prediction or something similar, for a football team in such a diverse partly urban/rural area that we live in. But i fear that is only short term.
In the long term, the ways things are going, I can't see foootball at a local level surviving.
20 years from now it will only be clubs in cities that have teams. Goodbye to the Poppies, Cobbblers and the Posh - the Foxes might just survive.
But hey, we can still watch the Diamionds Boys play football in the park.
KTFC beware, your day is numbered...

Peterborough is a city, hence the big cathedral ;)Dukes wrote:I give them one season and a change of name will appear as cash flow will demand more support from the local area and KT fans refuse to relocate.

I get what your saying though, the FA needs focus it's attention to the lower situation and do something about it. I feel RDFC is one of the first of many...
