That'll include taking out the RDFC on the Airwair and changing all of the names. Why did he never spend any money doing that when he was chairman?

More to the point, why did he have no interest in helping us financially but is willing to put investment into his asset... or have a just answered my own question? It's fairly obviously where KC's priorities lie.

I'm surprised there aren't more annoyed people by all this, the whole situation seems incredibly contrived. KC stands to make money out of purchasing the club and demanding the land in the long term, always did I suppose. I guess we all have our own thoughts though.

Thats pretty much the reason why hundreds of Diamonds fans swore blind never to enter Nene Park when our supporters trust gave the stadium away.

Probably because he wanted to sell on and for the new owners spend the money - eg someone like the Beasants but he got that one wrong didn't he..!
The Beasants were hopeless but KC chose them as the next owners and developers of the club, big mistake and has led to the demise of our club, so who really is to blame..?

Yes I've thought that for a while now. It's like he shocked that football costs a lot of money to run, you'd have to be incredibly naive not to know that, if you don't want to lose money don't get involved with football club ownership.

As soon as any club sells / hands over their ground to a third part they are simply hostages to fate.

Just a thought to put out there... there is always the possibly KC knew that they were neither capable nor had the finances, even without a due diligence check you only had to look on Google for their history...

I was trying to keep faith that we would be saved, but I give up - I'm off to revise :geek:

Exactly. We had our fate in our own hands and we actually gave it away. I remember there was a Trust vote to ratify the handover to KC and the 40 or so 'No' votes were ridiculed and told that they looked stupid. They turned out to be right.

To be fair didn't the vast majority abstain? It seemed the most sensible thing to do, shame so many flocked like sheep though.

If memory serves wasn't it mainly those closesly involved in the inner circles of the Trust that were being patronising to the "no" voters.
