Keep believing all be well if you want to, it's your perogative, just like it's mine to post stuff I don't know the whole story about and have a habit of getting the wrong end of the stick on a forum. (The clue is in the name).
It is not your perogative to wait for the next possible problem, get all excited and post it on here. You seem hell bent upon spreading misery on here as your record has shown for well over a year.
You admit in your first post that you do not know the whole story and in your second you've admitted that you are withholding information.
If you've lost all hope, get off this forum.Keep believing all be well if you want to
I don't think that there is any need for that, if you can't handle another person's perspective then I'd say the same to you. It is a internet forum after all.
On Topic: Another piece of sad news. I for one can't wait until this season is over and we have something to be positive about!
Re: More problems?
I have only lived in the area and been a season ticket holder for a couple of years so I probably shouldn’t comment on current events but, having now adopted my son’s football club as my own, I’m going to anyway.
It seems to me that one way or another “my” club has been acquired by two people, one of which has no business experience and it seems, despite his original claims, no existing business to transfer to Nene Park and by another who, whilst he might have some experience of business, seemingly has no record of any sort of success.
Equally obviously they also have no money, no working capital to finance the running of the club and so, not surprisingly, in their latest statement they seem to be getting ready to blame the supporters if the club fails.
It seems to me that if supporters do not buy season tickets or what are, in reality, valueless shares in the club, it is because the owners’ background and their actions so far have made fans worried about the safety of investing in the club in those ways. That is simply the fans being sensible and prudent with their money.
Anyway, I thought I saw Steve Beasant reported as saying at the fans forum that he didn’t want fans to buy season tickets but would prefer them to provide a regular income to the club by buying tickets on match days? If that’s correct, it seems that he’s suddenly changed his mind - didn’t he know how much it costs to run a professional football club?
My own season ticket would cost me nearly £100 more than last year and the discount for lending the club my money for a period of almost 12 months is only the equivalent of admission to only two matches. That doesn’t seem to place much value on my support or much of a return for risking my money in the future of the club under their management.
Mr. Beasant Jnr. and Snr., tell me why you bought the club in the first place, explain to me your vision of the clubs future and give me a sensible explanation of how you intend to achieve those plans – share your business plan in other words if you know what a business plan is - and I and others might be ready to support you.

Re: More problems?
Chammie - that is an excellent first post and one that sums up my view entirely. I support R&D, the football team, and not necessarily anyone who runs it. I know the two things are inextricably linked and that really grinds with me. However, what won't work with me is to try and make me feel that somehow I have a responsibility in all this. IF I buy a season ticket it is because I WANT to, not because I SHOULD do.

Re: More problems?
Welcome to this board Chammie. On a few of your points I ask the following. Why do you view what the owners have said as preparing to blame the fans? Couldn't it be they're just telling the truth of how it really is? Football clubs cost vast amounts of money, and anyone who is prepared to put their time & efforts into running my club has stood up and been counted. Whilst the lack of business experience is somewhat concerning, they're getting stuck into the place and actually getting some things done off the pitch. I see this as a very positive sign as they can look at it with a fresh perspective. Who would you bring in that's different? It was well advertised that KC was keeping this club afloat during his tenure, so it just goes to prove if you want to make a small fortune, start with a large one and buy a football club. This club MUST stand on its own 2 feet in the long term, that means outside income streams - possibly something PBDevs will bring on its own for a start, but the site must be developed to bring additional ones.
What IS certain, is that if we do not respond to the calls then our club will die - that's what they're telling us. This is NOT a false alarm, this is NOT a test !
