Would also add Adam Birchall from Dover to this as has scored 31 goals for the Blue Square Bet South side so far this season and could maybe be a good assetCalversonDiamond wrote:Would like to see LEE STEVENSON sign from Eastwood looked good both times he played against us, an scoring 3 goals against us aint bad either !! Prolific goal scorer from midfield aswell![]()

You are Dover or Eastwood. A Conference side comes in for your prize assets. You're going to make sure that you fleece them for every penny they're worth, and then some.CalversonDiamond wrote:Would also add Adam Birchall from Dover to this as has scored 31 goals for the Blue Square Bet South side so far this season and could maybe be a good assetCalversonDiamond wrote:Would like to see LEE STEVENSON sign from Eastwood looked good both times he played against us, an scoring 3 goals against us aint bad either !! Unless someone has a spare £200k knocking around to pay for transfer fees and wages, I would be surprised if we had gone in for those players.

Agree there as just on whats happening tonight money talks sadly, would of liked to see someone come in but Justin knows what he's doing !!! But can't deny that they could be good players for any club in our league, providing they could step up

Re: Transfer Deadline Day Thread....
Dissapointing especially after justin said he wanted a striker and goal scoring midfielder.
what does the end of the transfer window mean, can we still bring players in on loan 'coz i thought it was only emergency signings from now on?

cant see why everyones suprised we aint got no money so we have to rely on the loan market which is still open so no change from normal!

Re: Transfer Deadline Day Thread....
We can still use the loan market. A goalscoring midfielder wouldn't come cheap. If we had a tiny fraction of some of the obscene amounts being thrown about last night, then we would be able to get those players easily. Unfortunately we don't so it makes it a hell of a lot harder to get the right players. Do you want players in for the sake of it or the right players?DiamondsR4ever wrote:Dissapointing especially after justin said he wanted a striker and goal scoring midfielder.

Luton have released strikers Kevin Gallen and Taiwo Atieno, defender Pavel Besta and midfielder Taylor Nathaniel - wonder if any of them could be within what ever budget we have
