Brilliant comeback and after the second half preformance, worthy of our 3 goals, but after our first half preformance Hayes were worthy of there 2 goals and the 3 early in the second. Everytime Hayes got the ball they looked like scoring, worrying I say!

I've heard many stories about Barry Ellis, 54 goals in a season or something along those lines. TwinkleToesTomlin will know in more detail! Two of Diamonds wrote:I agree. Back in 1970 we had a bloke called Barry Ellis played centre-forward. Did nothing all game but put that ball in the goal area and he was there like a shot. That's what we need, we don't WANT him playing with his back to goal, we want him in the box, poaching.
That's what management must work on.

Barry Ellis.. What a legend. My old man never shuts up about this chap.
From 1964-67 Good Boy Barry bagged a staggering 200 goals in all competitions!
