My orginal thought was the bad timing of the sueing and the 'kicking while down'. I happen to agree with what most people have said, including you as my opinion wasn't set either way.

I also wasn't aware of any media hype surrounding this? Certainly not any bad press towards Campbell anyway.

Not an over reaction at all. Pompey has been mis run, mis managed, slipped through the FIT & PROPER ownership bit, and a chief exec that up on charges.
The PL are shit scared that Pompey will go pop and all the played game points will have to be re worked out, plus UEFA and FIFA are likely to insist on stringent legistlation changes.

Sol Campbell has had a bad press - He's Black - He's allegedly Gay - plus he walked from other clubs for big bucks (pun intended :lol: ), BUT, I will say it again.............he is a creditor, he hasn't been paid monies owed to him. Would YOU have done nothing? I spend hours chasing unpaid bills.
