Leon Knight
Training with Eastbourne with a view to a 'pay as you play' deal according to another conference forum.

Re: Leon Knight
I was speaking to his old kit man who said he's had offers at League 1 level but he will rip open the Conference at Eastbourne!

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

Re: Leon Knight
He never really got a good go here though, and he was under Hill and we all know everyone underachieved under him! I used to watch him in training and he was immense, and he obviously has talent, just needs to re-find it!wewantourdarbyback wrote:The same way he didn't do here?Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:I was speaking to his old kit man who said he's had offers at League 1 level but he will rip open the Conference at Eastbourne!

Re: Leon Knight
In his case it was more his own fault, failing to turn up on time to both training and matches. I very much doubt he'll bother to try at Eastbourne in any way more than he did at Nene Park.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:He never really got a good go here though, and he was under Hill and we all know everyone underachieved under him! Re: Leon Knight
Then again if he is travelling to Eastbourne from Brighton where I believe he still resides it's not exactly like travelling to Nene Park from the same location, being late will be much less likely to happen.
If that brighton forum thread is anything to go on, then maybe he has truely grown up and won't even be late anymore.
Either way pay as you play should suit both parties very well.

Re: Leon Knight
I really hope he does not join Eastbourne. He would destroy the terrific team spirit they are enjoying at the moment and with young Ross Treleaven why do they need a troublemaker like Knight.
Yesteday was another fantastic match.
Next home game is the The Dons. So it will interesting to compare Diamonds result on Tuesday with Boro next saturday,.
