Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Post by woody »

Thank you keeping my spirits up for the last month, even those that made grumpy side comments.

Nearly a month ago I went out with my new granddaughter, she was 'full of a cold' type virus.

Two days later I started with the worse sore throat I can ever remember. I was aching, skaking running a temperature on 103, and felt really poorly. All symptoms of Swine Flu etc.

I got worse, nose bleeds, ear ache and cramps in every muscle range whenever I moved. It got even worse than that, because I was dehydrated, my feet, knees etc swelled up like puddings, so I couldn't even walk more than a few feet.

So The NHS believe I had at least three different viruses at the same time and one may have been a swine flu variant.

I'm now (thank God) on the road to recovery, still walking with a stick, coughing for England, and feel very weak.

ALL I CAN SAY....................I couldn't have coped without you and you company on these posts. Yes its hard not to react to implied criticism, I do hope My self restraint, gave you all the impression that it was 'business as usual' on the Woody front.

Bless you all, sometimes you lot are like a second family - Thank you for your support.

Get well soon, mate. Sounds like you had something like I had a few weeks ago. In bed for about 8 days, missed out on a primary school re-union too. It was so bad, in fact, that I couldn't even stay awake to hear us beat K*ttering 3-0 :(

Slainte ;) :D
