Tommo watch...
Re: Tommo watch...
Day 7 is about to commence, ad still no word, and seemingly few rumours about offers made! THis probably means everyone is keeping quiet, or there really have not been any offers. Maybe the scouts were not impressed with some of his later performances?

'That' goal against Kiddy was worth £250k alone! More fool any scout who didn't turn up to that game.jimbobjaw wrote: Maybe the scouts were not impressed with some of his later performances?

I have to agree with all of that. Having said that however, if they did miss Kiddy, i would suggest they may have seen a bit of a "quiet" spell? Im afraid i can still see Tommo leaving soonish. I just hope its for good money, and after the scum game.davealbon wrote:'That' goal against Kiddy was worth £250k alone! Re: Tommo watch...
In the NLP today, apart from the out of date league tables, JE says he's surprised no one's come in for Tommo already, and that he wont be going anywhere for £80k - £90k. A few daft rumours of him being sold for more than the non-league record of £260k.

I dont think £260k would be a unrealistic price for Tommo, i definitely feel that he has the potenial to be as good, or better than George Boyd who went for that price. Two of Diamonds wrote:In the NLP today, apart from the out of date league tables, JE says he's surprised no one's come in for Tommo already, and that he wont be going anywhere for £80k - £90k. Agreed. His attitude is the only thing that may hold him back, but we haven't really seen any of that so far this season.Rdfc91 wrote:I dont think £260k would be a unrealistic price for Tommo, i definitely feel that he has the potenial to be as good, or better than George Boyd who went for that price. Two of Diamonds wrote:In the NLP today, apart from the out of date league tables, JE says he's surprised no one's come in for Tommo already, and that he wont be going anywhere for £80k - £90k. Almost a third of the way through the window, and no more offers!

Re: Tommo watch...
I agree that his attitude has improved greatly this season, but it does still let him down far too often. He's been booked on 7 occasions so far, I would guess at least 3 of them were for some form of dissent, and also got sent off for retaliation. I'd say he still has to improve considerably in this area.jimbobjaw wrote:Agreed. His attitude is the only thing that may hold him back, but we haven't really seen any of that so far this season.
