Car repairs

Post by Three of Diamonds »

Anyone know of any decent garages/ one man bands who do bodywork repairs (not too expensive), in the Irthlingborough/ Rushden / Higham areas please? Someone scraped my poor little Micra's door yesterday in a car park in Rushden, then buggered off. It was a red car cos I've still got their paint on mine!
Any suggestions please?

Get a new car; Micra's are for girls! ;)

I know of a good place in Bedford, I know it's out of your way but I'll dig out their details if you can't find anyone closer to home.

There is a guy called Kelvin who works out of an industrial building behind this house .....

at Shepherds Hill near Wollaston. Irchester Garage have his phone number and details as he used to work there. Now he works for himself.

To get there, drive to wollaston via Irchester, pass the school, then turn left down Hookhams Path, then straight over Hinwick Road to Shepherds Hill, and it is on the left.

He fitted new wings, new front and rear valance and new front panel and resprayed an Opel Manta GTE for me. It was a very nice looking job. He seems good at painting new panels, and repairs, but I wouldnt recommend him for restoring rusty cars. Also you will need to tie him down to a date, as with most people doing that sort of work I've found. He also did some respray work on a Nissan 200SX for a friend of mine that looked good.

He normally has some examples of his work that he can show you, he certainly is a skilled at spraying and repairs.
