Fantastic atmosphere and vibe to the day yesterday, such a lovely and deserved way to end an entertaining season.
The whole club feels like its on the up and moving in a good direction, play offs next season

Agree with this, was just a shame the win was thrown away un necessarily. I heard the shop had a bumper take on card payments alone and great idea to have bbq.oliv272 wrote: Sun Apr 26, 2026 8:18 am Fantastic atmosphere and vibe to the day yesterday, such a lovely and deserved way to end an entertaining season.

Excited to see what squad ES and JLM can assemble in the close season and the new shirt delivery.

Apart from disappointingly nearly losing from being 2-0 up at 87 minutes, it certainly was a fantasticly successful day, what a crowd, must admit I didn't think we'd break the record with nothing to play for, but we did and it was a great atmosphere and bet we made loads through drink, bbq and raffle sales.
Can't fault anything the playing management or those behind the scenes have done this season at the club, everything from the professional social media feed (a far cry from Corby or K*ttering's SM!) to events and all the new sponsorship we've gained to the vastly improved player recruitment has been top notch and shows the club is certainly moving in the right direction.
Feel a bit for ES and his team this season though, they've had some rotten luck with key signings like WMB, Duffy, OBH and Mulligan leaving our getting injured early on and then of course what happened at Loughborough, can't help but feel like this was a what could have been season and had the incident at Loughborough not happened I honestly believe we would be getting ready for playoffs now.
Never mind though, as long as we can keep the current management and a few key core players then we can kick on and aim for top 5 next season, up the Diamonds!
