Won [ Sat Sep 20th ] v Coleshill Town, KO 3pm FAT2RQ AWAY
Re: [ Sat Sep 20th ] v Coleshill Town, KO 3pm FAT2RQ AWAY
It's been a truly amazing turnaround this month from Elliot and the boys, from hugely struggling to even create half chances in August to 10 goals in three games and exciting attacking football! Bruno and Tyler in particular seem to have really gelled and playing some great football together, but so are others in attack, bring on next week!Three of Diamonds wrote: Sat Sep 20, 2025 6:08 pmSome of the attacking football is the best I've seen since we reformed and we could have been out of sight. The Manager has some homework to shore up the defence but it was another good display and money in the bank.STAGMAN wrote: Sat Sep 20, 2025 4:14 pm Great win lads that puts a few pounds in the bank , even though a bit squeaky bum at the end

Fantastic first hour.
When was the last time we were so on top of a game after an hour we could afford to make subs just to give players game time, and to rest tired legs?
Answers on a. Postcard, as I don't remember - that's something that happens in the Premier League - not to us!!!
The game did get disjointed, and Coleshill threw everything at us for the last 30 mins - making it look a lot closer than it was.

Let’s see what amazement the draw throws up! I’m going with what’s left in our league, Anstey, Corby, Rugby or Basford. Or for the obvious, K*ttering.

I think you may be right, let's hope it's a home tie.

From Step 4 any of those plus Biggleswade or Dunstable. From Step 3 Almost anyone from Southern Prem Central.fentiger79 wrote: Sun Sep 21, 2025 2:19 pm Let’s see what amazement the draw throws up! Tough draw, at least it is at home.
Malvern Town, currently top of the Southern League South. 14 goals in 6 league games, should be a tough test for the lads.

I saw that and laughed. The ref actually gave the goal we scored from the corner, blew his whistle and pointed to the centre spot. Then a few Coleshill players got in his head, then he went to the lino, but he never did put his arm up for a foul so technically it should have stood.Dazzler wrote: Mon Sep 22, 2025 3:33 am Only 4/5 in the Non League Paper...
