Re: 2025/26 Squad
He doesn't appear to have played for anyone last season, not since Ploppies in 23/24.
Unless anyone can find more up to date details.
He has been growing his business over last couple of years. Some very good reviews of his motivational speaking concerning mental health issues and young footballers coming out of Academies.

Well, we certainly have options upfront now. He looked a right handful last time he was with us, let's get cracking.

I don't think too many of the retained players will feature in Sandy's first choice starting eleven.
Re: 2025/26 Squad
A signing I did wonder whether we might make and while he hasn't quite hit 20+ goal a season form yet in his career, we know what a talent he is and the potential to have a great season is there, 12 goals in 31 for Spalding two seasons ago. Pretty much every one of the signings so far have been very pleasing, who knows what the season holds, but at the very least I hope we can build a bit of excitement and buzz for the start of the season for a potentially successful new era at the club and some better crowds, really excited for the new season!

Lewis Walker played 17 games out of possible 24 for Stoke u18 s last season. A potentially really good signing. That's 10 new players now and still time for more which raises the question will some from last season think their chances are limited.

Yes possibly, but that's fir them to prove themselves and shos why they should be here. Might have had it easy for the last season or 2, with squads being light and lack of competition. I'm happy with all the retained players, but one or two will have to step up to earn a place in the teamsussexdiamond wrote: Fri Jun 27, 2025 10:20 am Lewis Walker played 17 games out of possible 24 for Stoke u18 s last season. Difficult to know how he'll be with no experience of men's football, but like you say, potentially a really good signing, playing at the highest level of youth football last season against players that may start to break into Premier League first teams in the next season or two. In November last year he played against a Man United side with Chido Obi in it who has played and started a handful of games for the United first team. Looking forward to seeing him play.sussexdiamond wrote: Fri Jun 27, 2025 10:20 am Lewis Walker played 17 games out of possible 24 for Stoke u18 s last season. A potentially really good signing.
