3 points was all that mattered today and I'm delighted with that, particularly after the run of draws. Same again on Monday please!

Thought Will Jones had his best game for us to date today, and was deservedly MoM.

I was always surprised/disappointed that Peaksy didn't give Jones more chances to start.

Job done today, but boy was it hard to watch. We seemed to sit back a lot in the second half, and that made it difficult to get up any momentum. Not sure I like Tish out wide, but that was a real quality cross for our first goal. It feels like we only have one out and out winger (Furlong), as none of the others looked dangerous.
Three points and we push on.

In all fairness, I don't think the formation we were playing under Peaksy really suited Will. As talented as he is, asking a teenager to lead the line on his own against big, experienced centre halves is a tough ask. He did well coming on as a sub against tired legs, but struggled when starting. However, playing in a front two suits him much better at this stage of his career, especially when he's playing alongside someone of Jordan Graham's quality.

Important win yesterday, Jones had his best performance by far, defence looked good (shoutout to Diamond for putting in a great display!), Jesse superb again - only downside was Nathan our wide, feel like he’s wasted out there. Great strike by Connor for his goal!!
Big 3 points, better Alvechurch’s result on Monday and we’re there.

The EARLY substitution in the 2nd half changed the game in our favour. I didn't think Johnson playing badly but for whatever reason it wasn't working. Great to see an early subsitution making an impact!

The introduction of Furlong gave a tiring Bromsgrove a another little headache in the warm conditions certainly help us up the tempo a bit. He took his goal really well too!

Only slight concern is we seem to sit back for the last 5 mins or so, they nicked a goal. (Completely undeserved) and then we had a nervy last 3 or 4 mins. Do that on Monday and we may be in trouble.

Looking forward to Monday's game. We seem to play well on 4/5/6/7G pitches for some reason. Although with some old Diamonds faces they'll be looking to no doubt spoil the party! We owe St Ives one though with regards the Play-offs so hopefully we'll get ths job done and Banbury will do us a favour too.

See you all tomorrow!

Really pleased we got the win, but we didn’t make it easy for ourselves!

Looked more than the quoted 478 in attendance in my opinion, we had the exact same figure against Stourbridge & Hednesford by the way! 🤔

Yesterday was all about the result, it’s a nervy time for a few of the teams in the playoff positions, it’s just about getting there. We just have to focus on us and see where that takes us.
A very exciting end to the season and something none of us thought would be in the offing after 10 games!
