From The Vote Now Show last night:
... Then there's David Cameron who looks like a man wearing a David Cameron mask and Nick Clegg.... who also looks like a man wearing a David Cameron mask

Late to the party with the votematch site but...

Labour 71%
Lib Dem 66%
Greens 61%
Tories 42%
UKIP 38%

Interesting considering as a former Labour Party member I was considering not only voting LibDem but actually joining the party and offering my services in the future. I'm pleased to see them second however ;)

I did another similiar test this morning and found much in common with the Green Party, much to think about!

"He said" "He agrees"..................These three are so diverse on some things and very close on others.

Gordon looks like a man under threat, with no communications skill whatsoever.

Cleggy is so animated with his hands and body, that I think he will TAKE OFF (more than the planes today)

Captain Slick, looks and sounds PRIME MINISTERIAL, the others like also rans.

HOWEVER...................where is the substance? I'm not convinced by anyone of them yet

This debate has been all about Clegg. Whether or not you support him, he has certainly shown himself to be passionate and intelligent, and will have picked up a fair few more votes because of this. I think Brown and Cameron are both trying to pal up with Clegg, not surprising considering how the public are viewing their respective performences.

Ditto. I also think Clegg is coming out of this best.

Summary

I've enjoyed this. Gordon Squirming, Captain Slick aloof

Cleggy with all his animation.................is talking sense

So, for me................... the postions after round one

1. NICK CLEGG
2. DAVID CAMERON
3. GORDON BROWN

Brown and Cameron will both still have their die-hard support, but I think the neutrals will have been swayed towards Clegg after tonight. Interesting stuff all round.

Clegg came out best yes (although I missed half an hour for HIGNFY).

However, those trackers are bollocks. Firstly the point that the party HQ's are all on them trying to influence them, secondly they are completely biased to the particular sits readerships (i.e. the Guardian to the left of centre)

That's very true. Cameron doesn't have a chance if you focused solely on the Guardian.
