I just can’t bring myself to wish him luck, sorry but I lose all respect for any players who join them from us.
A massive mistake not getting him in a contract.
Completely agree with you. It's become a bit of a running joke that I maybe lived Ty more than most, but I can't look past any player going directly from us to them. He's been quality for us, and had he gone to anybody else at the step above I'd be completely fine with it. Now though, I hope he never scores again!!
I’d welcome him back if it doesn’t work out there. At this point in time I couldn’t care less how well he does.
It was probably to save face, but a few years back Jake Newman returned, and said he made a mistake leaving to join that club.

Honestly, I’m sat here in disbelief, first Peaksy, and now Ty Deacon. I just can’t bring myself to wish him luck, sorry but I lose all respect for any players who join them from us. Yes I know the old club “stole” a lot of their players early on, but I can’t help but feel disappointed, I guess I now know how they felt when we did it to them!

We most certainly did not "steal" any of their players, we paid waaaaayy over the top prices for them, as Max wanted to help K*ttering out of a massive financial hole they'd dug for themselves.
I vividly recall asking Roger Ashby if he fancied bringing Carl Alford to the club and the answer was a definite NO, didn't suit our style. We paid around £35k for him if I recall, later that season.

he has only been with us 4 months and we as a club have helped him grow
I don't really agree with that, Ty Deacon has been scoring goals around Southern League Central level for years and he has been on the radar of Conference North/South clubs before including pre seasons under the guise of 'Trialist x' in a team that plays football in a way that suits him he was always going to score goals. I'm looking forward to seeing how he does at that level in an Ian Culverhouse team, though am not sure he'll get them playing Lynn style football on Latimer Park.
If it doesn't work out, he's more than welcome back here.
Play it out from the back.
1 up front.
Man gets one good result via a new manager bounce and thinks he's Pep Guardiola.

Think it was more than double that, was around 85k. We had to pay a stupid price at the time to get the conference top scorer to drop a division

I wasn’t privy to the ins and outs of incoming players at the time, around 1993/94? I would have only been 11 or 12 at the time.

Think it was the 95/96 season, so getting on for 30 years ago. We were trying to get out of the beater hones league and although it paid off, Alford never reached his full potential at nene park. Was joint top scorer in our first season in the conference though, with 16 goals
To be fair I don’t think it’s quite the same as we paid over the odds for Alford whereas they’ve picked up Ty on a 7 day approach
Actually I thought the way they danced on our grave at Nene Park when they moved in more than outweighed it but apparently not.

I’m surprised a K*ttering fan managed to put a sentence together like that,
