There has been no official confirmation from either side so we'll just have to wait and see. However, if the rumours are true about how desperate K*ttering are for a no.9 and the amount allegedly being offered - it may prove difficult for Ty to refuse. I am just praying that he stays with us.

On the subject of money, I wonder if the club tried to change Peaksy's mind about going to Tamworth? I hope they did? Did they offer a wage increase to tempt him to stay? i have no idea but I'd be interested to know?

Finally, if the Biggleswade game gets called off on Saturday, Tim & Scott will have no chance to show the board what they can do prior to an interim manager - just a thought!

How much are "they" reportedly offering? And where are we hearing this from?

I've only seen speculation on here to be honest, but it tallies up with everything I'm seeing elsewhere (K*ttering releasing players for example) and I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's true. Praying that it's a case of fake news though

Don't think we will know whether he was offered more. He apparently said he wanted to take up Tamworth's offer so if his mind was made up then maybe it was best to move on. Concerned that players may follow him, but we just have to deal with whatever comes.

Are we still going to get a full statement, or is the tweet wishing him the best and the statement about appointing an interim all we're going to get?

Of course still feel gutted even days after the news, if it had happened when we were in mid table or earlier on in the season it would have been easier to take but days after moving into the playoff positions and making a Sixfields final is a real kick in the teeth, we were on such a roll and it would be a massive shame if we miss out on top 5 because of it. Just hope the continuity of the interim team keeps us going, even if Ty goes which seems likely, it still should be the same group of players, at least til the end of the season hopefully, we just need to keep doing what we have been doing. Also would be nice if Peaks stays away from poaching all our best players as well!

Credit to the board for coming up with the plan for the vacant role nonetheless, this must be taken as an opportunity for the future and as others have already spoken about, this summer will be a good time for all fans to come together and share ideas of how we can keep the club moving forward as it has been a real concern to see how much attendances have stagnated this year. Even with such a great run of form, attendances have only slightly increased. If we're not going to be in a position to make regular promotion pushes without additional sources of revenue, then we need to look at boosting attendances in other ways and review why crowds have declined despite the move into Rushden.

Never seen the big deal in those badges, best of luck to him, but he can have a uefa A, uefa B, GCE, PhD. They are just 4 those with deep pockets, and the only currentcy I deal in is results on the pitch. Until we get to see that then don’t believe we should be saying anything and give him time to prove himself.

Hope Ty rumours ain’t true. Shame if so.

There seems to be limit on how many approaches can be made in a 28 day period from one club to the same club.

I think the vultures circling are nearer home than Tamworth

Same principle nevertheless applies. They can only make one approach in a 28 day period so by that time the season will be over and four of our squad are on contract.

Correct, Clubs can only make 1 approach to another club every 28 days and clubs can only approach the same player at the same club once per season.
Under Southern League rules there is also a cut off date for player registrations after which new registrations, loans and transfers will not be accepted. This season, the cut off date is 5pm on March 24th.
The window for any other SL club to approach any of our players and, for us to approach any of theirs, is therefore getting smaller with each day that passes.

That’s good news. I knew that you would have your finger on the pulse Stacey. :good:
