What is happening.
Joel gone to Bugbrooke (source Sussex Diamond on other thread) - and as much as I agree with Bozzer opinion normally I just can’t believe waiting or giving the manager more time works when the crowds are turning their backs on the club in alarming numbers.
It’s not just the team of course as the volunteers are also leaving and the feel good atmosphere has just gone from around the place.
There are some deep rooted problems at the club that need addressing urgently.

Gyasi signing for Bugbrooke means nothing, it's a different league.
You won't get relegated, you can't go up. In that case you would want to go and watch matches that were entertaining.

I don't think a two minute interview 15 mins after the game is the right time. The top pundits on Sky or BBC don't probe directly to the manager straight after a game. They do just what everyone does, they examine the result and performance in the comfort of the studio or in our case on this forum. This season is a new experience for us all, we have never been in a relegation situation. Any other criticism of Peaksy was ways to do with why are we not in the top half dozen. With so many changes and rumours on and off the pitch maybe it is time for a Fans Forum and an opportunity for everyone to debate face to face. I certainly agree with others that Andy deserves at least until Xmas to turn things around. A couple of signings and the imminent return of Smith should make a difference. Four extremely tough games coming up. A chance for everybody team, manager board and fans to get behind the club.Ricky330 wrote: Sun Oct 24, 2021 8:26 am We really need to be asking much more probing questions.

Maybe it’s time for the club or manager to say something, it’s all very well saying not straight after a game is not the time but when is?
Even a squad update would be useful, at this moment in time all we see is a mute management team with arms folded (unless a referee decision needs questioning)

Any new signing is always posted on twitter and OWS as soon as deal is completed. When a player leaves it is up to his new club to announce. Once they confirm then is the time to ask any questions. Joel has fallen down the pecking order since Furlong signed. Is anybody suggesting Joel is better than Furlong or Tshkuna. Maybe he is aware that any more signings would reduce his chances even more. Players at this level want to play regularly and if they can be assured of that elsewhere and maybe get more money so be it. Oh and someone asked my source. Bugbrooke is a small village and word spreads quickly.

only marginally better than ravi imo very hit or miss and you never know if hes available.i know slinny was off form, but hes the kind of player that slowed the game down and passed the ball, maybe a time to return ,as the midfield is headless chicken central..sussexdiamond wrote: Sun Oct 24, 2021 7:55 am The most encouraging point in Peaks interview was that Lorrell Smith should be back soon.
bozzer ,i dont get your point by posting a list of managers and clubs,,,,these are all ,mostly run by money men,and can take the risk for a few more games, our fans are our revenue,if they dont come to the games, income for the club suffers, while im on, do the board still pay to get into games??,ive also noticed some people in front of me at the gate dont pay, stating"im with such n such player" .we are not chelsea,,,,they should ,in my eyes make a donation or pay a fiver at least
i feel the "give him a chance "chant is wearing thing,,,,is this because there is no-one out there we can get in!!!

Clubs such as Bromsgrove & Tamworth (to name just 2) don't seem to have any issues with asking probing/difficult questions. Equally their respective coaches seem more than happy to answer them.sussexdiamond wrote: Sun Oct 24, 2021 4:39 pmI don't think a two minute interview 15 mins after the game is the right time. Joseph is a great kid but if you keep asking the same sugar coated questions you will get sugar coated answers IMO. We fans need to know what is going on.
Perhaps (as stated by others) it is now time for a statement from the board/manager because clearly the issues are significant and not just on the pitch!

Ricky I don't know you or whether you are already a volunteer and I am not intending to be critical of you personally. If you think you can help contact Joseph (a young man not a kid) then volunteer to join the media team. We really struggle at times to cover Radio Diamonds, We only fail to provide this service on average once a season. Ollie even travels down from N Lincolnshire. Our other activities are AFCTV, match reports for OWS and Non League Paper, programme articles, forthcoming match articles, Public Address Announcer(in my absence Joseph has even stepped into that role). More help is always welcome.

You're right it's not the first time, but never this loud, never this consistent and those calling for his head have never been more justified regardless whether you or I agree with that or not.bozzer wrote: Sun Oct 24, 2021 9:31 am This isn’t the first time the club has been in this situation there were times when people were calling for Peaksys head in the past. As I was on the board at the time we made it clear to the manager he had our support and we believed he would turn it around, he did.
I personally think there is more to consider now than there may have been previously. The league position is only a % of the current problem.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
