Excellent comeback victory for us today against dogged opposition. First half we weren’t really at it but the second half response was great to watch. We just had to be patient. Either side could’ve won it towards the end so thank goodness it was us!
Ravi Shamsi as I expected looks absolute quality. Never afraid to shoot from distance and only ever has one thing on his mind. What an awesome strike it was for his goal, we really have got some player there! Patrick Casey has been impressive recently along with Alex Collard and had a great game. The superb block he put in at 1-1 prevented a certain goal and potentially a defeat. A solid partnership has been formed between the two.
The brand of football we display is so much better than in the past and it’s pleasing to see us play pass and move football on the ground. Seven points from the last nine is an excellent return after the tough start to the season. Looking forward to Tuesday now against Royston which as always will be a real test.

For me, despite creating a few chances in the first half, it looked very disjointed. Shamsi and Akubine were put out of position and there was no flow. Until Hitchin scored and AP fixed it. After that it improved and we found a way to get back into the game, and go on to win. We can't start this way every time as we'll get beaten by better teams.
Nice little run though but we can improve, THEN we'll look like a real football team.
