Che Adams

Post by Trek »

I noticed that Che Adams, the Southampton striker, scored for Scotland in their WC qualifier match last evening.

He featured in both Oadby Town’s matches against us in our first senior season 2012-13, as a 16 year old, in the UCL Division 1 including the Diamonds 5-1 defeat in early January when Oadby ‘won’ the league.

Good spot that. Looking back at the match reports on the website shows him in a few photo's, also made a good read looking back!

Indeed. Looking back at the match report of the 2-2 draw reminds me of what a dramatic game that was - the early red card, the battling performance with 10 men capped by the Aaron King goal, and the late chances to win the game. There's a pic that Quincy might not have on his wall too... Image

There are a couple of photos from the 2-2 draw at the Dog & Duck featuring Che Adams. One when he is tackling (and fouling?) Alfie Taylor from behind and a second when Kingy is striking the ball for his wonder goal.
