I'm not expecting us to get anything from this game, so 1 point would be terrific.
With big spending Peterborough $port$ coming up it could be a lean Christmas. Let's hope the team prove me wrong.
Something this league has taught me is to expect the unexpected - anyone can beat anyone on their day!
I can’t make this one as the grandkids are visiting for the weekend, so I’ll probably be kicking a ball around with my grandson in a park somewhere wearing a Santa hat - but half an eye will be on Twitter! Normal football viewing restored on Boxing Day though!
Raising awareness of Motor Neurone Disease RIP Dale Roberts - gone, but never forgotten!!
Next two games against the top scoring teams in our division. We will need Bully back for this one to marshall defence. Casey has been great but his time will come. We also need McLeod back with Nabil to present a threat upfront.
I note the U18 game due to be played on their ground this evening has been called off due to the weather. Let's hope the forecast is wrong and it stays largely dry between now and Saturday afternoon.
For a 0-0 on a heavy pitch that was a decent game of football & one we could and possibly should have won. I’m a great fan of numbers and stats however that may have changed having just looked at the Bromsgrove twitter feed, apparently they had 15 attempts on goal of which 13 were on target, I can only imagine on target is anywhere between the corner flags. A good game almost spoilt by a ref with 1 arm who gave us nothing and them far too much.
That was so much better than the abject showing at Kings Langley. Every player put in a decent shift. The tactics were spot on too, with more substance to central midfield than for a while, and good support from MacLeod and Acquaye for their full backs.
