Although very early in the season this is a must win game, not so much to put us top of the league but to convince those who are a bit sceptical of our position that we really are contenders for play offs. If we are ever going to turn our possession into goals this is the game to do it.
In yesterdays 0-0 draw at Banbury, Hitchin missed two penalties!! They have scored just three goals in 6 games.
2 points dropped last night, Hitchin were terrible. Something needs to be altered within the attacking options as all 4 strikers give us the same options currently and it's becoming predictable. Unfortunately, the 3 subs yesterday did next to nothing meaning we couldn't see the game out or score again. The goal was a complete disaster starting from the freekick kicked out of play to playing a blind pass back to the keeper from the halfway line. One positive being Pat Casey, who had a steady game for his league debut at RB.
