So far this season we have not had any home league games postponed. So credit to groundstaff and the weather.
We have played 16 home league matches for an average of 532.
Games played on Saturdays (and one Friday night) and Bank Holidays average 591, whereas the games played on Tuesday nights is only 357.
So again we see the benefits of avoiding postponements and having to play on a Tuesday.
Our remaining games are all on Saturdays or Bank Holiday, including the Big One. Hopefully our average by the end of the season will be around 600, if we can maintain the 600 for Saturdays and get 1800 for the K*ttering game. That will represent a big improvement on last seasons average of 477 when we had far more Tuesday games due to the weather etc.( eight I think)

Re: Home Attendances
According to the OWS last season's average home attendance was 500:

Re: Home Attendances
Indeed it was (you don't round up a fraction of a person). On a related note, the Southern League seem to have lost all the archive information they used to have on their old site about previous seasons, and the third party sites don't usually have the resources to "sanity check" the data - and as we've seen this season, the data redistributed by the league doesn't always match reality.AndyKirkup wrote: Wed Feb 27, 2019 10:08 pm According to the OWS last season's average home attendance was 500:

Re: Home Attendances
I hate to be proved wrong on stats, so I have checked last season's figures. Total attendance was 10514 giving average of 500.
If we could reach an average of 600 that would represent a 20 per cent increase.

Re: Home Attendances
And we have probably the largest gate of the season to come as well, hopefully on Easter Monday
