I hope the weather is better than the forecast, this is only the 3rd game of the season that l can get to watch. With a chance to keep the points gap at the top, we need to play to the conditions.
So, fingers crossed, see you all tomorrow.

Not much snow about now. Hopefully it's on.

There was a load of rain last night. I'd be surprised.

No real snow of note and it did rain in the night but it's drying. Just watched the Barton Rovers game and that pitch was really poor. Let's hope our groundsman can work his magic and get it on.

No real surprise there. It's had no real time to recover from this constant bad weather.

Agree entirely, coupled with two clubs playing on it and the drainage problem that needs resolving in the summer. Quite frankly from a spectating point of view it would have been absolutely baltic at Hayden Road with the easterly wind and although designated a ‘pay what you want’ fixture I think the attendance would have been seriously reduced.therushden wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 11:22 am No real surprise there. Real pain again, but it will be interesting to see which other games go ahead. The way things are going we will win league by default as others fail to take advantage. We still have two midweek slots available. But only two Saturdays to reschedule the " pay what you want". See you all on Tuesday?Trek wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 11:45 amAgree entirely, coupled with two clubs playing on it and the drainage problem that needs resolving in the summer. As Ernie Tippett would say - let’s take the positives. The ‘pay what you want’ initiative would have been a disaster because whilst it’s not raining, it’s bloody cold and windy too. Also, looking at the forecast we’ve got a very good chance of playing on Tuesday. Our opponents that night - Hayes - have a tough game today away at Chalfont so won’t be as fresh as us on Tuesday.
