Another promotion contender who will be determined to derail our great run and avenge that 3-0 drubbing earlier in the season. They seem a bit hot and cold. One week getting a great result and then spoil it for themselves by dropping points the next game. But we just have to play our usual game and let them do the worrying.
So who will replace Luke?
The one who can play in that role is Ford, his first ever game for us at Loughborough was on the left wing and he scored. Since then he has played mostly in a defensive role. He would slot into Fairlambs role without disrupting the rest of the team.
Westwood offers more pace and defensive capability but is he disciplined enough?
Robbins is obviously next in the pecking order after falling behind Ben Diamond. I suspect he would be happy to play anywhere, but we would have to somehow shuffle the back line as he does not have the stamina of Fairlamb.
Confirmation in today's ET piece by Jon Dunham that Fairlamb will miss Dunstable (H), K*ttering (A) and Arlesey (A).
Couldn't really care less who plays against K*ttering and we shouldn't need him at Arlesey to get the job done. We'll obviously miss him tomorrow but that could have been far worse.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....
Call to arms from AP in today's NT saying: “That’s been the biggest downside for me this season, I thought we would attract more interest with going back to Rushden,”

The thing is that people would rather sit at home and be armchair fans of the Premier League clubs. Is disheartening to see kids and adults walking around Rushden high street wearing Man Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham & Liverpool shirts, and the thing is I doubt very few of them have actually traveled to watch those teams.
